Do I have to register with you before ordering?
No. You will only have to register when you are ready to place an order. For ease of use on subsequent orders you will be able to retrieve your account details to save you entering them all again and also enabling you to access your previous orders so that you can quickly reorder the same items time and time again.
Is there an age limit to register?
To register with expats-shoppingarcade.com or expats-shoppingarcade.co.uk you must be over 18 years of age.
What happens if you don’t have something I really want – can you help?
Yes. Using the ‘feedback’ link – just email us with as much information regarding the product as possible (name, description, size etc) and we will endeavour to locate and price the item for you and email you with those details within 2-5 days.
Is there a minimum order amount?
No, there isn’t. The delivery cost is calculated on the weight of your parcel and this will be different depending on whereabouts in the world you are! Basically, the more you order the cheaper the delivery becomes – why not club together with friends and share the postage?
Is there a maximum order amount?
No, there isn’t. We may need to send your order in more than one parcel, but you can order as much as you like.
What currency am I charged in?
All orders accepted would be charged in pounds sterling (GBP £) – We have put a currency converter on the check out page so that you can see what the approximate cost is in your local currency.
How do I pay for my order?
We accept most credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Delta, Solo, Maestro, and Visa) and payments can be made online. We accept that some people don’t like using the idea of paying over the internet – in these cases we will accept cheques (in sterling) and also payments made via the telephone or fax. In these cases just contact us via email at sales@expats-shoppingarcade.co.uk, telling us which payment option you prefer, with a contact telephone number and we will contact you to discuss other options.
Is my payment secure?
Yes, all payments are protected and processed by SECpay Limited, who utilise a market leading security encryption using SSL/encryption – minimum 40 bits and firewall. We at expats-shoppingarcade.com do not have access to or hold any of your credit card details. Therefore, credit card details will be requested each time you place an order. I want to place an order but it needs to be delivered to a different address – Can I do this?
That’s NO PROBLEM. In the Checkout Section click on the change delivery address icon. You can input the address where you would like the goods to be delivered to in there.
What about customs regulations?
Some products we sell may have importation restrictions in the country where the delivery is to be made. We will check your order before despatch and should this apply to part of your order, the items will be removed before it is dispatched. Should this apply to the whole of your order, you will be notified within 5 days of your order date. In either case you will be refunded accordingly. Obviously due to the frequent changes in custom laws in some parts of the world we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
What is the ‘Favourites ’ facility for?
When you are shopping and its something that you would like to order again and again – so save looking for the item each time – just click on the ‘F’ button beside the item. It adds the item to your favourites list, so next time you can go straight into your favourite’s list and there they are!
What is the ‘Save Basket’ for?
We at expats-shoppingarcade.com understand that in a perfect world you wouldn’t have the kids screaming for attention, the phone ringing or someone knocking on your door when your busy ordering your British favourites online. As this isn’t a perfect world, we know how irritating all these distractions can be and also how annoying it is to find that when you’ve sat back down at the computer and all your hard work and goodies you wanted have disappeared! So to stop ‘having to do things twice’ we have put the ‘save basket’ facility on there, so with one click of the mouse, everything you decided to add to your shopping list will be there waiting for you to carry on shopping till you go onto the checkout. – Simple!
